Our difference.
Our difference.

Dentistry that starts with knowing you.

There are plenty of dental practices.
But we don't believe good dentistry starts with a treatment plan.

It starts with a person.

At Claremont Dental, we take the time to understand you - your
dental history, your concerns, your priorities and what you want from your dental care.

Because when your dentist knows you, they can make better decisions about your care.
And when you understand your options, you can make better decisions for yourself.

That's the difference.

We listen before we recommend.

Good dentistry isn't about finding something to fix.
It's about understanding what's happening and working out what, if anything, needs to be done.

Sometimes that means treatment. Sometimes it means prevention.
Sometimes it means monitoring something over time. And sometimes the best advice is to do nothing at all.

We won't recommend treatment simply because it's possible.
We'll recommend it when we believe it's appropriate for you.

Experience gives you perspective.

Dom and Kate bring almost 50 years of dental experience between them.
But experience isn't just about the number of years you've spent practising.

It's about knowing what matters.
Knowing when to act.
Knowing when to keep things simple.
Knowing what good treatment looks like.
And knowing when someone else may be better placed to help.

That experience allows us to look beyond the immediate problem and consider your dental health over the long term.

Care should never feel like a sales process.

We don't believe patients should feel pressured into treatment.

You should have the time to ask questions.
You should understand why something has been recommended.
You should know what your options are.
And you should feel comfortable taking the time to make a decision.

Our role is to give you experienced advice and help you make an informed choice.

Not to sell you dentistry.

Sometimes the best care is knowing who to refer to.

We know our limits. And we're comfortable with that.

Dom, Kate and the team have strong relationships with trusted specialists across areas including prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics and periodontics.

When a patient's needs would be better served by a specialist, we'll refer them.

Many of the specialists we work with are people we know personally and trust to provide the same level of care, attention and detail we would expect for ourselves.

Because looking after you means putting your needs ahead of our desire to provide every treatment ourselves.

Good dentistry isn't about doing everything. It's about doing what's right.

Preventative care matters.

The best dental problem is often the one you never have to experience.

Regular examinations, professional hygiene care and good everyday habits can help identify potential problems early and maintain your dental health over time.

That's why prevention isn't something we simply offer as a service.

It's part of how we approach your care.

We want to help you understand your oral health, make informed choices and keep your teeth and gums healthy for as long as possible.

Family Dentist Perth

Dental artistry is in the detail.

Dental artistry is in the detail.

Experience and clinical knowledge are only part of good dentistry.

The quality of the result also comes down to judgement, precision, materials, planning and attention to detail.

At Claremont Dental, we call this Dental Artistry.

Whether we're restoring a damaged tooth, replacing what's missing or enhancing a smile, we approach treatment with the same principle:

Do it properly.
And always with the individual patient in mind.

A team that knows you.

Good care doesn't stop with your dentist.

From Dom and Kate to Dr Mike, our oral health therapists, dental hygienist, dental nurses and front-of-office team, everyone has a role in creating your experience.

We believe the best practices feel personal from the moment you walk through the door.

You should be welcomed.
You should be listened to.
And you should feel comfortable asking questions.

Because looking after you isn't just the dentist's job. It's everyone's job.

And sometimes, #openup is all you need to do.

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.
You don't need to have perfect teeth.
You don't need to know what treatment you need.

And you definitely don't need to feel embarrassed.

Just #openup. Tell us what's happening.

We'll listen, explain your options and help you work out what comes next. No judgement. No pressure.

Just a conversation about your dental health.
