Porcelain Veneers

Chipped or misshaped teeth can be a bit embarrassing. At Claremont Dental, we’re here to find the best solution for you. We incorporate digital software to pre-plan your smile and provide you with the best possible result.

Our composite resin veneers can be applied to your front teeth to make moderate shape change such as reshaping teeth after orthodontic work, small fractures or gaps. The moderately durable material is matched to your tooth colour and fitted to your teeth during one appointment.

Porcelain veneers are fantastic for moderate to major changes in tooth shape. Designed to bond to the front surface of the teeth following minimal removal of existing tooth surface, these veneers are durable and highly resistant to chipping and staining. As they are made in a dental laboratory, porcelain veneers take two separate appointments – one to prepare the tooth and a second to bond the veneers to the tooth.

Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns are ideal for major changes in tooth shape and to restore functionality to a tooth. As fabricated tooth-shaped coverings that encase the whole tooth, crowns require a two-stage appointment and follow the same protocol as porcelain veneers.

Icon Resin Infiltrations

White Spot Lesions are small and often superficial enamel defects (or white/discoloured marks) that can be very noticeable when they are present on the surface of the front teeth. In severe cases these surface discolorations may make you want to hide your smile or leave you feeling very self-conscious.

While there are many different causes for these ‘white spots’, Icon treatment can help make the discolouration less noticeable. This is done by filling the porous enamel with Icon ‘resins’ so there is no need to remove any of the tooth structure and results can last from 2 to 5 years!

The benefits of getting Icon treatment:

  • It’s painless

  • It’s quick

  • It’s very conservative

The cost of Icon treatment generally starts from $582 per tooth, however this does vary depending on the severity of your case and a detailed quote will be provided to you at your initial consultation.
